Welcome to Crafted Designs Co: The Evolution of Planning

Organization and planning has always been a part of my life. I remember being in middle school when I received my first Trapper Keeper with a set of new markers and pencils.  There's nothing like that feeling of new stationary supplies! I can still remember when I started my first serious job during college.  I went out and purchased a Day Planner with a new set of pens. Since then, I've gone from school issued planners to Happy Planner to now what we consider customized agendas. Talk about evolution. 

A few years ago, a group of teachers wanted to learn how to use their Happy Planner and stickers.  I put on a small workshop in my classroom after school surrounded by my colleagues. I'm a natural influencer so I had them purchase everything! I shared my HP Classic and my HP Mini and they were in awe of my planning style.  Stickers were everywhere! Soon after, I started a Youtube channel because I wanted to help other people who were in need of staying organized and productive. We've grown to over 6,000 since then. I look forward to every video and every comment with the hope of helping someone from across the camera. 

Two years ago, I started to dream about having something of my own. I wanted a stationary store.  I kept that dream to myself and finally shared it with a few friends. A friend asked me, "Why are you afraid to dream?" I had a hard time answering the question. A year ago, I was featured on a podcast.  I was asked to think about my life and come up with one word that would describe what God has done.  My word was CRAFTED. The interviewer who knows me very well said, "That's the name of your stationary store!" That name spoke to me!  This past May, I had an opportunity to have dinner with Ashley, Founder of Cloth and Paper.  She asked what I wanted to do after retirement.  Once again, I was scared to dream.  I answered with, "I don't know," fully knowing I wanted to walk in her footsteps. 

So here we are. This is my last year of teaching. I've served as an educator for 28 years. Although this is my happy place, my desire to educate others will still continue. Like my Youtube channel, Living With Lacey, Crafted Designs Co stands on the same principles of helping others achieve their goals, stay organized, and be the best version of themselves. It is my prayer that each insert, dashboard, or sticker helps you in your endeavors.
